Technical Support During Installation

An installation problem can mean undoing work your team has already finished. Before moving everything back, ask the design team whether a smaller change could solve it.

Three Modules at Loberia

At Loberia in Slovenia, the mounting structure had been set out from a different starting point than planned. Three modules ended up too close to an air-conditioning unit, creating a shading risk.

The installer sent the project manager a marked-up sketch. BISOL CPE's design team considered moving the entire mounting structure or relocating just those three modules.

They chose the second. The team revised the module positions and the string connections, so the mounting structure did not have to be moved as a whole.

According to the project team, the solution was worked out in about 30 minutes. Installation could continue with the revised layout.

What to Send When You Need Help

For a layout question, give the technical team a clear view of the situation. Include:

  • A short description of the issue.

  • A photo of the affected roof area.

  • A layout sketch with the relevant modules marked.

  • Measurements showing how the installation differs from the plan.

Agree any revised layout and wiring with the responsible designer.

BISOL also designs and builds solar installations. At Loberia, that experience helped the team find a solution that preserved the mounting work already completed. For an installer choosing who to work with, practical support deserves a place alongside the module specification.
