PREBOLD, December 22, 2010 – BISOL has installed the final rooftop PV power plant on a public building for this year.
Â
In recent months, BISOL has opened a series of PV power plants on the roofs of 15 Slovenian primary schools. Cooperation with different municipalities has proved to be effective and will continue in the coming year. In most cases, BISOL hired and renovated appropriate roof areas and thus quickly took care of problems with the old roofs that many public buildings have. The principals of all 15 primary schools emphasize the ecological impact and increased environmental awareness among pupils.Yesterday, the opening ceremony took place in Prebold, the small town where BISOL is headquartered. According to estimates, the 217 kW PV system will produce 239 MWh annually. The power plant will be able to supply electricity to 60 houses in the vicinity and will save more than 143 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. At every opening, BISOL organized a lecture in which the most important questions about investment in PV system were answered.
BISOL emphasizes the importance of the message that every solar power plant on a primary school gives to younger generations. Environmental awareness and the importance of using renewable energy sources are the concepts BISOL wishes to impart to youth people.
