IN 2010 BISOL EXPECTS 100 PERCENT SALES GROWTH

PREBOLD, 9th of December 2010 – BISOL this year concludes with another PV power plant opening and more than 100 percent sales growth. Today a roof top PV system opening ceremony took place at primary school in small Slovenian town Šmarje pri Jelšah.

 

Estimated annual production of 235,8 kW PV system, which consists of 1012 BISOL PV modules, is 260 megawatt hours. Each year the PV system will satisfy the electricity needs of 65 households and save 156 tons of CO2. BISOL is satisfied with the willingness of numerous municipalities and public schools to work on joint projects. This year the company cooperated with many of them by renting appropriate roof areas and investing in its own PV systems.

 

According to first estimations, this year BISOL’s turnover will be 55 million euros. The company has particularly increased export to Italy, France and Czech Republic while in Belgian market achieved stable growth. President of the board Dr Uros Merc: “Our products are present in diverse international markets where BISOL has proven to be a well-established trade mark. International business activities were further strengthened this year by opening our own representative offices in Italy and France, while last year we established a subsidiary in Belgium.” In times of crises BISOL records more than 100 percent sales growth with similar plans for the upcoming year. Nevertheless, a lot will depend on prices in global PV market in the beginning of 2011.
